Sara Renner has shared her unique blend of Pop, Gospel & Jazz music in over 1000 churches, festivals and event centers in 30+ states and 10 countries.  Based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota this award-winning songwriter and vocalist has produced four CDs and one live-concert DVD.  Sold exclusively at her live concerts and online, Sara’s has sold over 30,000 copies of her CDs and songs throughout the United States and around the world in countries such as Japan, Singapore, South Africa and Canada.

Also a seasoned worship leader, Sara Renner is currently the Director of Contemporary Worship at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church in Mahtomedi, MN.  Her diverse worship leading resume also includes a two-year stint leading the EFCA National Leadership Conference (a gathering of 1000 Evangelical Free church leaders from across the U.S.), a 6-year stint as worship leader and guest artist at the Love Inc National Convention as well as mass youth gatherings in Michigan and Florida.  Sara Renner’s music and heart for worship connects strongly with other women and she is frequently asked to speak, sing and lead worship at women’s retreats, banquets and conferences.  Her ever-increasing and denominationally diverse resume includes the Minnesota Baptist Conference annual retreat at Trout Lake Camp, the Westwood Women’s Holiday Dessert and the Covenant Northwest Conference women’s retreat.

Sara is often accompanied by her band “The Elements”; an impressive group of professional and even Grammy-winning musicians who support her original music with their talents.  Whether accompanied by one or two Elements in an intimate acoustic setting or the dynamic full 11-piece band, Sara’s passionate vocal delivery, the integrity of her message and her vulnerable and funny storytelling open up a rare window into the human soul.  Her music will make you laugh sometimes, make you cry sometimes and watch out; it might even make you dance sometimes.

Although well-known as the “Anthem Singer” at MN Wild Hockey games from 2007-2009, Sara’s true calling is to share her original music; providing both a musical and spiritual experience that you will not want to miss.

    Sara,
    I heard you sing for the first time last week (7/7/11)while TV surfing and came upong Burnsvills ‘concert in the park’.

    It (the concert)was outstanding and after I had watched for awhile I realized you were singing Gospel music and said to myself “this is getting better by the minute’

    You have a beautiful voice and what you sing makes it even more so.

    Sarah…. thanks so much for the CD you gave me when you hosted us for SLL. I just ordered CDs for my nieces who are deployed. I’m sure they will give them great comfort. LOVE your music.
